4-B Wood Specialties, Inc. was founded in Seville in 1974 and Kurt Grassell started working there two years later. From the moment Kurt began helping his father with woodworking projects around their home, his affinity for building with wood began to grow. In the late 1980s, Kurt became the new owner of 4-B Wood Specialties, Inc. which now occupies 17,000 square feet of modern shop space and has won many awards for their highly detailed work. We visited recently with Kurt and Office Manager Tracy Romanotto and listened as they told of their custom services;

4-B Wood Specialties, Inc. offers all styles of commercial and residential cabinetry, mill work, laminate counter tops, and solid surfaces. As a custom shop, we manufacture kitchens, baths, bar units, office cabinetry, and entertainment centers in both standard and custom sizes. We work primarily with oak, cherry, birch, hickory, maple, walnut, and ash but have the ability to find any type of wood to meet your needs. We do our own finish work and, with our own stains and paints, can provide custom matches to other wood products you own.

We work through a network of 27 dealerships located throughout Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Michigan. Our dealers are encouraged to bring their customers right to our factory so they can see the cabinets being built and the level of detail that goes into their construction. Our thirty year reputation for unequaled craftsmanship has helped us become known as "a builders' builder".
