Dr. Ann Marie Stuart has always been interested in health and science. In high school, one of her favorite subjects was biology, and she decided to combine her acumen in science with her desire to help others enjoy good health by entering the medical profession. After graduating from Mt. Union College in 1995 and Wright State University School of Medicine in 1999, Dr. Stuart completed a three year residency in family medicine in Spartanburg, South Carolina. She and her husband moved to Medina County where Dr. Stuart opened her family practice in 2002. We met with Dr. Stuart recently, and listened as she outlined her practice's services and offerings;

My family medical practice provides care for patients of all ages, from newborns through grandparents. I provide my patients with a wide range of healthcare services, treating common maladies such as sore throats and colds, and also providing well child visits and monitoring the health of those who suffer from diabetes, congestive heart failure, and other chronic illnesses.

We're a small practice and we strive to ensure each and every patient receives personal, individualized care for all of their health needs throughout their entire life. I'm also on staff and have admitting privileges at Medina General Hospital.

As a wife and mother, I'm particularly skilled at helping other mothers tend to the healthcare needs of a growing family. I understand what it's like to be taking care of an ill child's needs, not only from a medical perspective, but because I've been there myself.
