Donna Hill has been the owner of Hair Loft Styling & Tanning Salon since 1999. Retiring from a lengthy career of running her own in-home day care facility, Donna was looking for a new challenge when a friend, the owner of the Hair Loft, mentioned that she herself was wanting to retire. Through their friendship and Donna's daughter's employment at the salon, Donna had the information she needed to make the decision to pick up the gauntlet and become the Hair Loft Styling & Tanning Salon's new owner. Donna offers this overview of her new business:

Hair Loft Styling & Tanning Salon specializes hair styling for men and women and in colors and perms. We have six stylists and we do up-do's, homecomings, proms, and wedding parties. We also offer manicures, pedicures, facials, massages, and electrolysis. Our tanning salon has three Wolfe tanning beds and is open the same hours as the beauty shop. We carry a full line of products from Matrix, Nexus, and Keune and my daughter Robin is a color consultant for the Keune company.

We strive to keep our stylists and our customers happy. Our customers really appreciate seeing their own stylist and our stylists are so happy here that two of them have been here twenty-two years, another for six years, and yet another for four years. Our staff members are Janet Redden, Robin Davis, Branda Calli, Receptionist Sarah Clutter, Massage Therapist Susan Fleming, and Suzanne Gromley in our electrolysis department.

Around the holidays and again in the spring, we hold our "Customer Appreciation Days" and we have gift certificates and "First Haircut Certificates" available, too. We always recommend appointments but we handle walk-in customers as time permits.

Each year we collect food for the Holiday Food Drive and we sponsor the "Wigs for Kids" program. We're a close knit salon and very active supporters of the schools, football games, and prom night.
