P.M. Glass Company has been installing and repairing glass in Lodi since 1990. Owner and founder Pete Hershberger was certainly no stranger to the glass business when he opened P.M. Glass. He had begun his career with the Wooster Glass Company in 1958 and in 1963, along with a partner, started Medina Glass where he enjoyed a successful career for twenty-seven years. Pete, originally from Wooster, became a Lodi resident when he married a local lass and wanting to work closer to home, he and his wife Maggie (the P.M. in the company name stands for Pete and Maggie) now spend their days with Pete overseeing P.M. Glass's shop while Maggie is in charge of the billing.

The P.M. Glass Company installs and repairs storefront window glass, mirrors, shower doors, window and storm window repair, patio doors, and all types of glass for automobiles except for convertible top glass and sun roofs. They make screens and do screen repair, cut glass for table tops, and can make or repair the glass for just about anything else you may need. Pete installs electric windows in cars, automobile mirrors, and can make stone chips in windshields practically disappear.

Fireplace and woodburner glass is available at the P.M. Glass Company, too and it can be custom cut to the exact size according to your specifications. While Pete can get the tempered glass needed for fireplace repair, he strongly recommends using a specialty glass called Pyroceran instead. Tempered glass can withstand temperatures of up to six hundred degrees Fahrenheit but the ceramic nature of Pyroceran enables it to sustain temperatures of fifteen hundred degrees without shattering which makes it the ideal choice for wood stoves and airtight stoves.

Pete's favorite work is automobile glass and he offers pick up and delivery service in the Lodi area. Auto glass repair and replacement can usually be done with only a day's notice and P.M. Glass Company's auto glass replacements are guaranteed for as long as you own your car.
