Heather Febus and Arroh Clark, owners of Serendipity Boutique, combine their retail and fashion merchandising experience to bring Medina residents a cornucopia of treasures from around the world. As they celebrate the second anniversary of the founding of Serendipity Boutique, we stopped by for a visit and listened as they provided an overview of the treasures their store holds;

Serendipity Boutique is a treasure chest of special items you won't find in average department stores or specialty shops. We specialize in artisan jewelry and glassware, in addition to gift items and women's accessories. A serendipitous moment is about finding something unique when you're least expecting it, so we offer something for everyone in a wonderfully eclectic shop filled with many unique treasures.

We offer jewelry items from between 60 to 70 artisans form all over the world. We feature artisans from Israel, Chile, Mexico, Poland, and the United States, in addition to many up and coming local artists who are beginning to gain national exposure. The majority of our items are sterling silver and contain semi-precious stones, but we also carry a lot of Swarovski crystal and a small amount of gold. Located in the back of our shop you'll find a gallery run by four well known local artists who specialize in water colors. Their display changes on a frequent basis and offers paintings in many different styles suited for a wide range of tastes.

We host parties at our store, and offer a hostess program for women wanting to invite a number of friends to join them after hours at the store for a special girl's night out. Each guest receives a special discount, and the hostess receives a gift certificate and is credited with a percentage of sales toward merchandise in the store. The party can include wine and cheese or desserts and coffee, making it a special way for women to get together and enjoy the evening. In addition to in-store parties, we're also available to attend in-home gatherings, and will bring a wide selection of unique jewelry items guaranteed to please your guests.
