Sonnet's Café was founded in Wooster in 1993 by Andrew Sonnet. Current owner Todd Power drove down to take a look at the café the day after Christmas that year, and six days later became the new owner. Todd laughs as he says, "My wife sent me out to buy an expresso machine, and I came back with the whole darn store!" With his wife Kathie, Todd opened a second location in a tiny corner of 117 College Street in Wadsworth in 1994. Due to the demand for great coffee, Sonnet's Café now occupies the entire building, in addition to hosting another location in the Food Court of the Outlet Mall in Lodi. We met with Todd and Manager Jeremy Johnson recently, and listened as they described the offerings of this popular neighborhood gathering spot;
Sonnet's Café is dedicated to providing you with friendly service, great products, and the ultimate in warm, friendly hospitality. Stop by Sonnet's Café today, and don't forget to tell them The Advocate sent you! |
